Bethel Baptist Church is an independent Baptist Church.
We believe that there is only one true and living God, that He
exists eternally in Three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe that the Bible is the verbally and plenarily inspired Word of God. And it is the divine guide book for our lives.

I am the pastor of Bethel Baptist Church.

I was born in Nishio city, Aichi prefecture in 1950.
In my high school day my homeroom teacher recommended that I should attend an English Bible study, which was led by a missionary lady. I attended there every week very faithfully. Although I was interested in learning English, I was not interested in the Bible. I graduated from high school and started to work in Aichi prefecture. After one year of training in Osaka, Hiroshima, Nagoya, I was supposed to open Chicago branch with then president of the company.

I became very discouraged in my life. One day, in my despair as I was thinking about taking my life, the English Bible study again came to my mind and I went. An American missionary was visiting the class on that exact day. He shared the gospel with me and led me to the Lord. I started to attend a church in Gamagori city.

A few years later I went to the States to study the Bible at Tennessee Temple University and Temple Baptist Seminary (now in Winston Salem, NC). I returned to Japan as a missionary and was married shortly after. We are now ministering in Iwatsuki, Saitama, sharing the Gospel of Christ with people joyfully.

I also studied Biblical counseling and is desiring to help people who are in pain and dismay like I used to be.
