I have never heard such a cute rock n roll!!! When I heard it for the first time, I decided to make a girl's band. Nikki & the Corvettes is a Detroit punk led by the candy-voiced rocker Nikki Corvette, guitarist Pete James, backup singers Lori Jeri and Sally. The group plied punk from 1977 to 1981.This fresh-sounding issue of their self-titled 1980 album from BOMP Records. Compared with an original cover and the reissued cover, a picture is slightly different. The album was reissued on CD in 2000, with non-LP singles from 1977 (young $ crazy and criminal element) and 1981(i gotta move and girls like me) added as bonus tracks. Lyrics is about boys, party, beach, driving and rock'n'roll!!! She also wrote a book, "Rock'n'Roll Heaven".
